Yep, went to the City Council meeting tonight.
No disrespect meant, but it was all that is wrong in government.

Mike, let me get this straight. Our City Clerk scheduled us to have a meeting in the same room we have been in all summer due to remodeling. The room ended up being too small, And THIS represents all that is wrong with Government. My god, could you overblow the situation any more?
It was a mistake not a sinister plot on the part of the City Clerk.

Amen Sam! Nobody had any problem with this room the last 10 meetings. The room gets filled with supporters, media, and people that don't like the fact that they can't kill the rest of us with their smoking and it's a conspiracy...next thing to come out will be that John Kalb had a problem with something last night.

am, the point was no matter what room, the council heard the same thing I heard and saw the crowd better than I saw the crowd outside the door.
Several admitted they thought were there for one thing (which is wrong , itself.
If you hear a crowd, see a crowd-- don't you possibly want to ensure that government is acting in the best interest of the people and make arrangements so that they can participate and witness? Oh wait...
