I was out talking with several small business owners the other night about their businesses being SO very down since the smoking ban took effect. In some cases it was dramatic overnight and never came back. Other cases it has been a steady decline.
Someone told me about this site (below).. it's interesting and has links to the voting record and snippits about the current city council.

You won't see a whole lot of press coverage on bars & taverns losing money due to the smoking ban.
The MSM (locally & nationally) is firmly in the anti-smoking camp, as they deem it politically correct.
