Lifestyle changes

One of the reasons I went back to college and became a CPA is so that I could have a more flexible job.

One of the good things about working at home is that I can work on the weekends. I put in about 10 hours yesterday because I was in the mood to work.

Another good thing is that I can spend time with my kids. In fact, this summer I get to spend every Wedensday with my kids. That is a lot of fun...

I just got off the phone with Jack. It was a scary conversation...

I think you know you are getting old when you call one of your friends, a male friend at that, and you decide to get together and let your kids play on Wednesday morning...

Heck, I can remember when I used to call my friends and talk about girls, politics, football, etc...

I think it is great that you get to spend time with your kids like that. I am sure there are plenty of parents out there that would love to have that oppurtunity.

By that definition, a 26-year-old trying to arrange a playdate for his kids is old.

Try to look at it this way. At least you are still young enough to have kids. With modern fertility treatments, you can remain "young" for another 30 years, at which point Graydon will likely be trying to arrange playdates for his kids.
