Tracy Warner and the JG are showing their inability to cover local elections in a competant manner; again.
Jennifer Jeffrey is the Chiar of the Allen County Libertarian Party. She sent Tracy Warner the below email:
"Tracy, can you tell me when the candidate interviews are for City Council and when the endorsements will be published? Thank you."
She just received the below email from Tracy Warner:
"The endorsements will be published later this month. We are currently conducting interviews with the major party candidates."
The Libertarian candidates have been invited to every major political event in Fort Wayne that I know of including: News-Sentinel interviews, YLNI, BCA, Northside, Chamber BIZPAC and the Northwest area Partnership to name a few.
I am extremely disgusted by the JG and by Tracy Warner's arrogant response. The JG is doing a disservice to its readers by only covering the candidates that Tracy Warner chooses to interview.
Do not get me wrong, the JG is a private business and can choose to cover the items they choose to cover; however, this is the last straw for me.
I am cancelling my subscription to the JG today. I will not support the JG any longer.
Mike Sylvester

None of the major party candidates would use a "Vote for Bob" sign either
What about Bob Morris?
I'll have you all know that a TV reporter at the YLNI event asked for a sign because she thought it was cute.

so picket the JG offices-and new printing press
get all your candidates, and a few others- 12-24 persons, a bullhorn
put duck tape, or tape small flags over your mouths.
"Let the Libertarians speak"
Tracy Warner is a dick.
dick the journal gazette before the JG dicks you

After all, its almost Halloween.
Maybe buy a few smoke bombs- smoke out the journal.
you get the idea.
Notify the media. I guarnatee it will be on all 3 TV, and both Newspapers.
Roach, You should join the Libertarian Party. Your views and their views pretty much go hand in hand.
Let Roach In!!
Roach (L) Candidate for Congress
Maybe someone needs to find those kids who were at the Snider-Dwenger game and borrow a costume:

Lets face it, the "Bob" signs have set the local libertarian party back by decades.
No, the Libertarian party being used as a refuge for Republicans in disguise has set the party back by decades.
For example, many local "Libertarians" have come out in support of Matt Kelty for mayor, which represents a blatant contrast to actual libertarian philosophy.
If you believe in "Libertarian economics," but also think that religion, dishonesty and incompetence should be an integral part of politics, then that makes you a Modern Republican, not a Libertarian.
The Libertarian Party of Allen County as it exists today was organized in 2004. It is mathematically impossible to set us back by decades.
Anon 4:09
We do not have a candidate for mayor, therefore we must vote for Henry, Kelty, or abstain from casting a vote for mayor. Several Libertarians have said that they will vote for Henry. I personally am leaning towards Kelty, but I believe that it is far more important to get a Libertarian elected this year. I have not done any work for the Kelty campaign, nor have I attended any events in support of Kelty. But I am actively helping and receiving help from pro-Henry Libertarians. While the mayor's race is receiving more media attention, the make-up of the next city council is far more important.
You are wrong Bob. The signs have still set you back decades. You will have to work years just to get back to where you were in 2004. If not for the Bob signs, Warner would most definitely be interviewing you guys, but hell he doesnt even know where to send the information. SHould he just send an envelope out that says "bob".
Anon 8:41
I want to offer you a correspondence course on punctuation, but I don't know where to send the envelope.
