The News-Sentinel has endorsed Robert Enders (L) for City Council in today's newspaper!
Congratuations Robert!
I spent the last couple of days on business in Chicago and I was planning on posting about that trip; however, this is more important!
Mike Sylvester
P.S. The NS endorsed a candidate the JG refused to even interview. What does that say about the JG Editorial Board?

Its too bad that they just didnt endorse "Bob". That could have resulted in a twofer endorsement.
And some of us think that the "other Bob", Robert Fuller also has a good chance to take out Tim Pape (with Ron Buskirk a distant third) Congradualtions and the best of blessings to the two "Bobs". John B. Kalb
Kalb,
If you think Robert Fuller has a good chance to take out Pape then you truly are a walking boondoggle of a political analyst.
I would say the JG Editorial board is biased as hell.
I would love to see both Bob's win, and LOVE to see Pape gone.
Good Luck
Have Bob Enders ask Glynn Hines if he is going to give back the $50,000 the FWCS funneled him to support the School bond issue.
Congrats Robert!
It says that the Journal Gazette editorial board is a lot more legit. I'm Shocked at this. VOTE FOR BOB
Bob,
First of all Congrats. If the ole mind serves me right you are the first Lib. to be endorsed by a local paper.
One step at a time.
If I lived in your area I would vote for you as YOU DO represent most of my views.
Best wishes and kick butt.
Congrats Bob.
Yes, the JG editorial board is biased. That's the editorial board's role at a newspaper. They get to be the only ones in the newsroom who have a publicly stated opinion. The rest of the reporters are to present the facts and let the readers decide.
Congratulations Robert. A nice victory for the LPAC today - something to be proud of for sure...
JG Biased?
Bias is one thing, total lack of integrity is another. Originally, they printed factually incorrect articles by not even acknowledging that there were Libertarian candidates on the ballot. Jennifer, and many others, had to work hard just to get them to print the basic facts.
Recently, they said that the smoking ban and Harrison Square should not be used as criteria for judging the candidates. We should be progressive, and think beyond these actions that have already taken place. Look to the future, not the past.
Yet in Sunday's paper, that was their main criteria for both endorsing Crawford and not endorsing Shoaffe. It is utterly ridiculous to say that voting on someones past record is appropriate, if you agree with their vote, but inappropriate if you disagree.
I would broadly define integrity as adherance to ones own principles. This schizophrenic application of of candidate selection standards, and their frequent failure to report even the basic facts (more than just the omission of Libertarian candidates)is beyond comprehension.
They should just be honest. Change the name from Fort Wayne Newspapers to Fort Wayne Chatter.
Congatulation Robert, and Good Luck!
why did the NS NOT EVEN mention the At large libertarian candidates in today's endorsements?
It's too bad that the entire district is Democrat and no one is gonna vote for him.
