The 2007 Indiana Libertarian Convention is over. It was a very enjoyable event and I had a great time organizing the Convention and meeting Libertarians from all over Indiana.
There is a lot of news; however, I think one item is so important that it must be put out here. I believe that the Libertarian Party of Allen County will be running eight candidates for Fort Wayne City Council this year. A wide variety of individuals have stepped up because they are upset with the actions of our local elected officials and want to give residents of Fort Wayne a choice...
More details about this will follow.
Our candidates are a cross section of the city and include mature professionals with families, blue collar workers, small business owners, and the owner of the 412 Club.

Where can we find out about all of the Libertarian candidates?
Also I am willing to help any of those campaigns.
Our current City Council is horrible. And the Republican and Democratic Council candidates don't look very good either.
You notice he doesn't use the adjective "mature" to describe me.
Seriously though, Michael Brightbill has already been nominated as one of the at Large candidates, and Byron Peters is the 1st District candidate.
You can reach Mr. Brightbill at michael4citycouncil@gmail.com
The best way to volunteer for the Byron Peters campaign is to email Mike Sylvester.
Yeah, I knew about Brightbill and Peters. Thanks for that email address by the way.
So are you running as one of the candidates? I was slightly confused by what your first sentence was supposed to mean.
More infomration will follow on this blog...
