Fixing Indiana's tax mess

Did you know that a small amount of the local property taxes you pay are sent to The State government?

Did you know that a much larger portion of your local property taxes are it turn paid(subsidized) by The State government?

In other words, they are shuffling money back and forth. This is the method The Indiana Legislature and Mitch Daniel used to make it appear like they were limiting the increase in spending by State government.

We have to split State government from Local government.

Only politicians can come up with schemes like this.
