Results of my first online poll

The results of my first online poll are in. Each person was only allowed to vote once. We had:
26 Votes for Eastern time. (46%)
31 Votes for Central time. (54%)

These results are certainly not scientific; however, they are interesting. I believe that the state is split about half and half on this issue. I would have expected this poll to result in people being in favor of eastern time since most of the people who come to this blog are from the Fort Wayne area.

Thank you for participating in this poll!

yeah no kidding... we in Fort Wayne are surrounded by states that are eastern... in fact 3 sides of Indiana are... One thing I know is first time I traveled east to Hartford, Connecticut in December one year I swear the sun was setting at 3:30... how depressing if we were Central...

I hated the initial channel 21 poll they took when DST passed when they asked people if they would rather be on "Chicago" time, or "New York" time... More people answered "Chicago" time but I thought that was a stupid and biased question... I would rather be in sync with our immediate neighbor to the east... ask them if they would rather be on "OHIO" time!!! ...our friends and market to the immediate east!
