House Erupts in Chaos

I have not had the time to check this out, so read it for yourself at:

The above post discusses a large controversy over a vote in the House of Representatives.

I have not had a chance to research it.

I am hoping someone who reads this blog has.

From what I understand, McNulty announced the vote was over before getting the official tally from the clerk - he was watching the vote totals on the board but votes can change and it should not be official until the clerk turns over the final tally. Basically he didn't know what he was doing and screwed up. The Democrats have since agreed to have a joint investigation into the matter. You can find video of it on YouTube.

McHenry is wacko. Everytime I've seen the guy he's spouting off the most partisan rhetoric imaginable. Perhaps someone can confirm this, but it wouldn't surprise me at all to find that him and Mark Souder are close friends.

On the other hand, that post wasn't partisan at all.
