You have got to be kidding me

Pennsylvania has had a budget showdown. Due to this showdown only essential government employees were to report for work.

Get this; out of 76,000 state workers they decided that 52,000 employees worked in jobs deemed critical.

Does anyone reading this blog think that 68% of the workers of a state government are working jobs that are critical?

Do not get me wrong, some of those workers are working critical jobs; however, there is no way that 68% are critical.

Come on...

I guess the question becomes what types of state government employees are critical.

State police, yes.
BMV, no.
Road contruction, yes.
Department of Agriculture, no. Like crops need government to grow anyway.
