Northwest Allen County School Board Results

The results are not all in yet; but, enough precincts have reported to where I think we can tell the results.

I had an Election Party for the people who helped me with my Campaign. It was a lot of fun... I really want to thank all of the people who helped with my Campaign! They did a great job.

At the beginning of my Party I made my election predictions for NACS, they are below:
I predicted Ron Felger would win with about 24% of the vote
I predicted Mary Wysong would come in second with 22% of the vote
I predicted I would come in third with 20% of the vote
I predicted Doug Adelsperger and John Hilger would get 17% of the vote each.

I did not have any polling data and just made some guesses based on my "gut." Not all precincts have reported but the latest results I have seen are:
Mary Wysong with 25%. (She got 3% more then I expected)
Ron Felger with 24%. (He got right at what I expected)
This would obviously make Ron and Mary the winners.
John Hilger with 20% (John did 3% better then I expected)
Doug Adelsperger with 16% (Doug did 1% worse then I expected)
And myself with 15%. (And I was most off on myself, I did 5% worse then I
expected)

So my "gut" was fairly close. I wonder if I over-estimated my results due to wearing "Rose-colored glasses?" I think that is VERY likely...

Running for School Board was an eye opening experience and one that I enjoyed immensely.

I just had my last class at IPFW and I am getting ready for vacation. We are heading to Canada and New York this weekend and I am looking forward to it immensely!

A pretty tight race all the way around - congratulations on your campaign and better luck next time.

Enjoy the vacation...

I don't think it is any suprise who the winners are. Please let's put the JF thing to rest and stop talking about major problems that need to be resolved in NWAS. It is a pretty decent district and much better without inexperienced candidates on the board.

So where's the anonymous moron that was supposed to be rubbing my nose in Hilger's re-election?

HeHeHe.

Hope you have a great time on vacation, Mike.

Mike,
Your campaign brought people's attention to various important issues. Wysong and Hilger may have won, but they both know that they are going to have to work hard to stay in office.

Felger and Wysong were the actual winners Robert...

Whoops. Even I'm wrong from time to time. Still, we have to keep doing what we are doing even if we lose. These should be elections, not coronations.
