Did you note that the article listed Indianapolis as having the closest approach to this type of facility? The only problem ,now, is that the Harrison Square stadium will be eating up all of our TIF, CEDIT and CREeD tax revenues with the sure-to-occur "cost overruns" and all this income will not be available to use for something like this - all will be going to Atlanta, Georgia. Maybe we do have an "inbred stupidity" in our town. John B. I spend about $30 every two (2) weeks to fill up. I get good fuel efficiency (but not great).

Here is what is going to really piss me off (prediction #1).

All of us out here in the real world have seen gas prices rising (some might go so far as to say skyrocketing) over the last couple of years.

So what have American car companies done in preparation of higher gas prices... Dumbasses keep building big trucks and SUV's like nothing is happening. They do this because they are short sighted idiots and because the big vehicles (which they HEAVILY PUSH with marketing) are selling now.

As we all can predict gas prices are going to have a negative impact on the sales of vehicles that are fuel inefficient (big trucks and SUV's). But our stupid, inbred, narrowminded, short sighted auto industry keeps tooling along like it's 1969.

In a few years they are going to be in SEVERE financial trouble. They won't have time to retool their factories. Thus their losses WILL BE STAGGERING! Then they are going to whine and beg the US Government to bail them out and save them from going out of business due to their own incompetent stupidity.

What I am really going to get pissed off at is that you know our government will be DUMB ENOUGH to do this.

Forget the free market! Forget letting the strong survive! Forget Darwinism! Forget Capitalism! Let's bail out the big, dumb, stupid American auto industry.

Again...

OK, Rant over.

Respectfully,

Doug HornerDoug H 3rd Dist Rep LPINhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17176858569875097868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11887973.post-73083533278242187302007-05-05T10:32:00.000-04:002007-05-05T10:32:00.000-04:00I would certainly vote for Ron Paul as well...Mike...I would certainly vote for Ron Paul as well...

Mike SylvesterLP Mike Sylvesterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06918776704117318033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11887973.post-22014758182914563562007-05-05T10:18:00.000-04:002007-05-05T10:18:00.000-04:00I'll second that Robert.I have been researching Ro...I'll second that Robert.

I have been researching Ron Paul a lot lately.
