Rioting spreads in France

It is amazing how far the rioting has spread in France.

It is now reported that as many as 10 police officers were wounded by shotgun blasts, over 3500 cars have been burned, and numerous buildings have been destroyed.

It is past time for France to send in their army and break the backs of the rioters...

It will be interesting to see what France does, will they surrender?

Only one reported death so far. Are the French covering up casualties to prevent counter-rioting by French civilians?

Jay Leno had some good jokes on the subject: "10 days of rioting and the French haven't surrendered yet! Still they are to the point where they are about to ask the Germans to come back in."

It is not hard to read between the lines to realize that the population has no weapons, that the rioters come from families who are on the equivalent of welfare their whole lives, and that it is illegal to start your own business from your home or set up a simple swap meet or crafts factory on rented property. One commentator said the solution was reduce taxes and regulation meaning LET PEOPLE CREATE THEIR OWN JOBS!
I think this is another example of the Iraq effect -- a man has to accomplish to be sane. If you solve his problems for him he will become weak and vengeful. How would anyone feel if a powerful entity prevented you from feeding and caring for your children and then stepped in and disciplined and fed them for you. Wouldn't you hate them? I would, of course I wouldn't go burning someone else's car to express that.
